  • Unverified Animals

    Animals in your herd list marked yellow are Unverified animals. The distinction between Verified and Unverified animals is relevant to the purpose of Hedgie List Pedigree Resource which states:

    The purpose of the Hedgie List Pedigree Resource is to help breeders and individuals keep true and accurate information for their animals. The goal is for breeders to work together to ensure that true and accurate information is shared between breeders and with customers.

    Verified animals have been identified as having an accurate pedigree to the best of community users and the admins knowledge. The registry uses the original breeder’s authentication to verify pedigree accuracy. Unverified animals can become verified in a variety of ways.

    Participating and Affiliate breeders can verify their own animals within Hedgie List Pedigree Resource. Breeders can request that other members verify an animal in their pedigree. Affiliate members need the HLR number in order to look up an animal in their herd and Participating members should find the animal in their herd list.
